ALLERGIES: CLASSIC ALLERGY SYMPTOMS
You should consider yourself a strong candidate if you have one or more of the signs mentioned above. Most people have a combination of two or more signs and some have as many as a dozen. Read carefully the list of symptoms below and tick any that apply to you. If you have one or more symptoms and have not been able to get rid of them with standard treatments, you may well have an allergy. If you have any of the symptoms listed below but as yet have none of the conditions that cause degenerating appearance listed above, then seek treatment for your allergies anyway. Although you may have been lucky enough to have escaped skin, hair, nail and fluid problems until now, this will not last.
The official statistics put the incidence of allergy among Australians at 45 per cent of the population. My experience based on twenty-two years of taking care of sick people puts it closer to 60 per cent. This is because many people are suffering from allergies without knowing it. The lists below illustrate just how varied the manifestations of allergy can be.
