Indications for Use.
Depressive states (acute phase and supporting therapy).
Action
Antidepressive performance is developing during 2 weeks after the beginning of therapy. It improves working capacity and social adaptation of patients. The drug does not provoke addiction.
Posology and Administration
Modes of administration in adults: orally, regardless of meal, 4 mg 2 times a day (8 mg/daily); in case of an insufficient clinical effect after 3 weeks it is possible to increase a dose up to 10 mg/daily.
In elderly patients (over 65 years of age) and in patients of kidney failure or moderately evidenced liver failure – 2 mg 2 times a day (4 mg/daily) increasing a dose after 3 weeks (if needed) up to 6 mg/daily.
Safety and efficiency of the use in children are not defined.
Counterindications
Hypersensitivity to Reboxetine, pregnancy, breastfeeding, childhood under 18 years of age (safety and efficiency of the use in children are not defined).
Should Be Taken with Precautions, if
Do not start Reboxetine therapy without advice of your attending doctor in pregnancy (including that of supposed) and in lactation period. Caution should be taken in administration to patients with elevated probability of convulsive attacks (if an attack progresses during the therapy it is necessary to stop the administration), in seasonal psychic disorders, in evident kidney failure, urination retention, glaucoma, in unnormalized arterial tension.

Overdosing
Symptoms: decrease of arterial tension, weakness, faintness, blackout during rising from a sitting or horizontal position, high intracranial pressure, high tension, anxiety.

Insomnia, dizziness, dry mouth, urinary difficulty, constipation, indigestion, high perspiration, tachycardia, weakness, impotency (with doses more than 8 mg/daily).
Pregnancy and Lactation
The use of the drug is possible is a supposed therapy efficiency exceeds a potential risk for the fetus. It is not recommended in the period of breastfeeding (there are no data on safety of the use in breastfeeding women).
Driving
