ALLERGIES: VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS AND SPECIFICS
Vitamins and supplements (daily)
– massive doses up to 5,000 mg. a day (vitaminin large doses should always be taken if patient consumes foods or drugs that he is allergic to)
Manganese supplement – 5 mg. twice a week for 10 weeks
A-10,000-25,000 units
D – 1,000 units
E-up to 800 IU
Calcium – up to 1,000 mg.
Pantothenic acid – 100 to 200 mg. Higher doses under doctor’s directions
Betaine Hydrochloride with digestive enzymes: pepsin, pancreatin, papain, bromelain – after each meal
B-complex with B12
Pollen tablets – Cernitin or other pollen preparations. If not available, raw, crude pollen, 1-2 tsp a day
Honey – raw, crude, unfiltered
Specifics
Vitamins and E, manganese, digestive enzymes, fasting, allergen-free diet, mono-diet.
Notes:
1. Some researchers believe that alkalosis is a major cause of allergies. It is important to bring the pH of saliva to as near as possible the neutral (pH 7.0 to 7.5). This can be done by stressing acid-forming foods, such as whole grains, nuts and seeds. Also helpful is the regular use of apple cider vinegar with honey during meals, and one tablet of Betain HO after each meal.
2. Allergic persons should take large doses of vitamin(1,000 mg. or more) before exposure to known or suspect allergens. Vitaminacts as an antihistamine and detoxifying agent.
3. Vitamin E possesses effective anti-allergic and antihistamine properties, according to some animal and human studies.
4. Under doctor’s supervision, high doses of pantothenic acid 1,000-1,500 mg. four or more times daily, have been used to alleviate’ many allergies. Dosage should be reduced when condition is controlled.
